Getting here from the airport
The Aircoach service ("the blue bus") leaves from outside the arrivals hall in Dublin airport.
The Sandyford/Leopardstown route crosses the city and stops on
Stillorgan road at the Montrose hotel which is just across the road from UCD. The journey time is one hour (which can vary significantly). Watch out on the left hand side for the radio transmitter tower of the national broadcaster RTE which is the stop before UCD/Montrose. The cost is €8 one way, or €14 return.
Note There are four Aircoach routes but only the Sandyford/Leopardstown Aircoach stops outside the Montrose hotel/UCD. Participants staying
in Bewley's hotel Ballsbridge should take the Ballsbridge/Donnybrook Aircoach (which stops beside Bewley's hotel).
Accommodation Information
Ensuite accommodation on campus (Roebuck hall and Glenomena residences). Each apartment consists of six single bedrooms en
suite with shared kitchen/dining area and sitting room. All bed linen, hand towel
and basic breakfast crockery are provided. Those wishing to have rooms in the same apartment should return their forms together. Fill out and return (by email) the booking form to the accommodation office by 30th April 2009.
